Designing Innovative Gadgets since The Stone Age !

Background -

It was plain Wooden wheels in carts that made transportation quicker, this was after the invention of the Wooden Wheel. Wood Work being the first Hand Skill to be born. Later the wooden wheels would wear out, Even the Feet of the Bullock needed to be reinforced. This gave birth to the Blacksmith's Job.

Now one day a Skilled Hand Potter was taking his ware to the village fair. The Bullock Cart was going fast in a narrow ridge between wet farm fields. The cart wheel hit a big rock and the wheel which was loose, broke off, spinning at high speed and landed on the wet mud and clay on the side of the farm land. Sheerly by accident some mud sticking on the top of the wheel formed into a small cup like form due to the inertia of the Spinning Wheel.

The potter was amazed ! thrilled at this Serendipity of Nature !! Pottery Automation was born. The Potter's Wheel lead to the mass production of Pots. The first know batch of Manufacturing Production Known to Mankind !

(PS - This is not a FolkLore. It was a real life incident that lead to the Birth of Pottery Industry)
